ROB RUN weapons: find a gun and know what you risk

Find weapons in ROB RUN through city loot, Lenny and the base laptop. Understand launch-day pistol changes, Black Market access and Police-issued equipment.

Get weapons in ROB RUN from city loot or the Black Market, reached through Lenny or the laptop at your base. The launch update made starter weapons easier to obtain, but did not introduce a guaranteed pistol after every death. Police-issued weapons follow a separate progression system.

Your first purchase should fit the job you can actually complete. This guide covers acquisition and loss rules; it does not turn incomplete weapon data into a damage ranking or a best-gun tier list.

Compare the acquisition paths

PathWhat the official documentation establishes
City lootWeapons can spawn as loot in Looty Bay.
LennyLenny provides a Black Market purchase route.
Base laptopA base gives another way to access Black Market purchases.
Police dutyThe department issues equipment for the Police role.

The first three are ways to obtain weapons for your own progression. The last is tied to a role and its conditions. Do not use a Police loadout shown in a video as proof that the same equipment should be available through your personal market immediately.

Check the launch-day starter changes

The developer reduced the basic pistol’s price and added starter weapon spawns around the city. The same announcement says the team considered handing out a pistol after every death, then chose not to implement that approach. Restarting after a loss should therefore not be planned around an automatic replacement gun.

Older playtest discussions may describe an earlier proposal or different economy. Check the current purchase panel and loot opportunities instead of treating a quoted pre-launch price as permanent. The announcement does not supply a current fixed pistol price or a map of every spawn.

Property changes your access options

Lenny’s market route is different from the convenience of accessing purchases through your own base laptop. The Base Management announcement also connects available criminal contacts and goods with the level of your home territory. Moving up the property ladder can affect availability, not just give you more storage.

If you are establishing that first base, start with plot and document requirements. Renting a plot and owning a whole settlement are different steps, and neither should be confused with a blanket unlock for every item in the game.

Keep Police gear separate from personal gear

A Police slot provides department equipment and a patrol vehicle. Badge progression and current server rules affect later access. The launch changes specifically limit fresh-server patrols to pistols at first, with better equipment becoming available as the server ages.

For details of enlistment, badges and the consequences of a Police death, use the Police guide. Owning a good personal weapon and receiving a duty weapon are not interchangeable systems.

Decide on a replacement budget

Criminal death in the city risks inventory, while surrender to Police retains equipped gear but loses bag contents. Desert death has its own broader loss rule. These outcomes matter before taking a weapon you cannot afford to replace into a job.

Our recommendation is to keep the purchase decision connected to a repeatable earning route. Compare the cost shown in the current game with what you successfully keep from a run, rather than spending everything on one upgrade. The heist guide and money guide cover the rest of that loop.
