ROB RUN cars: get moving, then build your own ride

Get a free ROB RUN rental, learn the property requirement for owning a car, store its key and fit vehicle modules. Understand cargo limits and trunk theft.

Rent a car for free at a Parking Terminal when you do not already have an active vehicle. For your own vehicle, the official help specifies property with a house or garage, plus key storage in your key locker. Upgrades use modules fitted to the appropriate part of the vehicle.

Separate getting mobile from building a long-term vehicle setup. A rental can solve an immediate transport need; ownership, modules, cargo use and storage introduce additional decisions.

Get the first rental

Find the nearest Parking Terminal and check whether you have an active vehicle. The free-rental rule is conditional on not having one. If a terminal will not give you another rental, that condition is the first thing to check.

The help article does not say that every terminal failure is caused by that condition, or that a second car is always available by moving to another terminal. If the interaction still fails after checking the rule, record what the terminal displays rather than repeatedly assuming it is a payment problem.

Set up for an owned vehicle

The documented ownership route starts with land containing a house or garage. Purchase your own vehicle through that progression and keep its key in the key locker. A key is part of managing access to the vehicle, not just another piece of general loot.

If you have not established property yet, follow the base guide first. Plot eligibility, required documents and settlement ownership are distinct from simply having enough cash for a vehicle purchase. Our advice is to check both the property requirement and your intended use before investing in modules.

Fit modules to the correct place

Vehicle modifications use different attachment areas depending on the module: under the hood, in the trunk or on the underbody. Check the modification’s intended slot rather than assuming every upgrade belongs in the same menu or position.

Base facilities can support vehicle work. The developer describes garages for additional vehicle space and a lift for replacing car modules without travelling to a city repair shop. No universal list of module statistics or compatibility is supplied by those sources, so this guide does not rank upgrades by an invented percentage gain.

Choose transport around the job

The Gameplay Overview describes vehicles as part of hauling cargo and getting out of trouble, not only travelling across the map. A job involving a safe or shipment needs a transport plan before you collect the load.

Check current eligibility as well as performance. At launch, the developer removed the Buletti’s ability to transport shipments. An older clip showing it hauling cargo is therefore not enough to establish that the same setup works now. Read the cargo guide before committing to a hauling route.

A trunk can be a theft target

The official help says a Black Market lockpick can open other players’ vehicle trunks, including Police cars. A vehicle’s ability to move goods is therefore not a promise that everything inside it is protected storage.

Our recommendation is to account for the load you leave exposed while completing another task. Distinguish access to a trunk from ownership of the entire vehicle; the developer describes taking a player’s whole vehicle through a full property raid as a different situation. For air transport, use the separate helicopter guide.
